Description: This session will cover general cyber risk, online cyber safety for children and parents, resources if you are the victim of an incident, and best practices to secure your private information. This session will also include information regarding popular apps like Tik Tok, Roblox and discuss issues around their use.

Annmarie Giblin is the founding and principal attorney of Giblin Law PLLC which specializes in cyber and privacy law and general litigation. Annmarie is considered a cyber law thought leader, who regularly writes and speaks about cyber and privacy law. She is also a seasoned litigator, having spent well over 10 years practicing “in the trench” litigation in a wide variety of practice areas. She is married and has two young children, and serves on the Legislation Committee of the Garden City PTA.
Description: Flexibility and motivation are increasingly important skills for the educational setting and beyond to college and employment. This workshop will focus on memory, motivation and flexibility skills and their relationship to executive functioning in children and teens. Participants will learn to identify specific areas of deficit in skills and performance and apply research-supported interventions to improve skills at home.

This workshop will introduce parents to the concepts and features of executive functioning skills, focusing on three manifestations that commonly cause challenges at home- organizational, study, and time management skills.
